in Drug Development and Public Health”

I am pleased to announce the 2022 MCBIOS-MAQC Joint Conference on Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, and Reproducible Data Science to be held on the campus of SAS Institute, Inc. Cary, North Carolina, USA during April 25-29, 2022.

We welcome you to submit a proposal for a scientific session (normally 90 minutes each) at MCBIOS 2022 by adopting one of these following formats:

• Technical sessions, which feature original research for oral presentations,
• Tutorials and workshop sessions (up to two back-to-back sessions for an extended workshop), which feature training materials geared towards trainees or investigators who are new to an emerging field of interest,
• Panel discussion sessions, which feature leading experts who discuss popular research or training.

The joint conference will be hybrid (in-person and virtual attendance) with MCBIOS 2022 on April 25-26 and a joint poster session on April 27 and MAQC 2022 to continue on April 28-29.

MCBIOS 2022 will feature late-breaking research on data science and artificial intelligence applied to disease biology modeling, genomics, systems biology studies, translational bioinformatics, computational drug development, and clinical informatics applications to improve public health.

MCBIOS is committed to training young scientists from diverse educational and ethnic backgrounds. Again, we will be glad to offer Young Scientist Excellence Awards, Poster Awards, and Travel Assistance to our members. More information about the eligibility, selection criteria, and deadlines will be updated on the MCBIOS web site. Please spread the word about this exciting in-person/virtual conference of MCBIOS 2022. We look forward to supporting Dr. Joshua Xu whole-heartedly in his organizing of this annual conference.
